This is a temporary position that will last roughly 4-5 week but potentially longer.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance, service and repairs on all facility machinery and equipment
· Maintain the preventive maintenance program for the facility
· Perform, update and record all preventative maintenance activities according to procedures for all equipment and machinery
· Work with outside vendors and contractors on specific equipment repairs and projects when necessary
· Coordinate maintenance activities with production, shipping, and other department schedules to prevent interruptions to business activities
· Responsible for installation of new equipment and modification of existing equipment
· Responsible for adherence to safety program and use of personal protective equipment.
· Control and maintain adequate equipment spare parts inventory
· Ability to work independently to contact vendors and order parts as needed
· Maintain safe working environment and follow all safety and shop rules
Skills and knowledge required:
· Intermediate to Advance knowledge and hands on ability to perform electrical repairs, plumbing repairs (including air, gas and liquids), light carpentry, light HVAC, and some welding repairs
· Ability to comprehend basic electrical schematics and use them to troubleshoot electrical problems in machinery and equipment
· Ability to perform pneumatic, liquid and gas plumbing repairs with use of steel, plastic and copper pipe
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AC & DC high and low voltage circuits
· Intermediate knowledge of temperature control devices
· Knowledge and use of electrical voltage meters and related equipment to diagnose and repair electrical problems in equipment
Ability to repair hydraulic pumps and equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
