Job Description

Position: Front Office Receptionist
Status: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00/hour, 20-25 hours per week, flexibility with schedule.

Position Summary: Escape Ministries is seeking a dynamic and organized Front Office Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service, manage inquiries, and ensure smooth office operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for serving others. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing support and guidance to our community members. The Front Office Receptionist will have a heart and a passion for the holistic wellbeing of youth and embrace the mission and vision of Escape Ministries. Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors and students in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying, keeping office stocked & organized, placing supply orders, sorting & distributing mail, creating and maintaining existing files, and assisting with internal mailings.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required by the Executive Director and/or Administrative Director.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner.
  • Excellent verbal/communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Canva.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude, friendly, outgoing personality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Escape Ministries.
  • A desire to grow professionally, help us grow our organization, and a passion to work with youth.
