Position Responsibilities :
Lead, Coach & Mentor: Lead by example by living out our Mission, Vision, Values. Reward and recognize great work. Manages employees’ performance and conducts performance reviews. Creates and/or provides opportunities for employees’ growth and development. Leads group and individual meetings/trainings daily.
Training: Develop and implement trainings in both classroom and field situations that will increase the department's performance. Helps develop and implement new hire trainings and onboarding.
Drives Revenue: Formulates and implements strategies to have each service technician meet or exceed projected metrics each month.
Removes any barriers that the service department has and provides expectations and holds employees accountable to meeting these expectations.
Optimizes the resources of the company by managing workflow, ensuring service staff have the tools they need to be successful in their roles.
Oversees the Annual Maintenance Program and customer service, including such things as service calls, warranty claims, mailings, data entry, and the scheduling calendar.
When customer issues are escalated, finding solutions while giving WOW! service to all customers.
Calculates all service staff commissions weekly.
Performs ride alongs with all service technicians and provides feedback.
Cross trains in other departments for back-up support.
What You Need:
2 years of management experience directly overseeing, coaching and mentoring a team and being responsible for their performance and exceeding goals. Ideally in the areas of: Plumbing, HVAC, Waterproofing, Sales etc.
Experience training and implementing sales systems and programs.
Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on computer screen 75-100% of time.
Skill in verbal (including presentation skills) and written communication.
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
Ability to move about/traverse up to 50% of the time.
A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
