Position: Commercial Loan Assistant Supervisor
Department: Wichita Loans

Salary: FT Hourly

Responsibilities and Expectations
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide direct oversight of the activities of Commercial Loan Assistants. Coordinate and allocate the workload in an efficient manner to ensure that all tasks and functions are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance, training and oversee the development of the Commercial Loan Assistants
- Monitor documentation process for efficiency and areas of improvement.
- Serve as primary resource for Commercial Loan Assistants throughout the documentation process. This will include being a liaison to other support groups within the bank as documentation questions arise.
Commercial Loan Assistant Responsibilities:
- Process and close commercial loans while providing accurate and detailed support.
- Assist in managing loan officer’s portfolio.
- Discuss with Loan Officer and create action plan regarding:
- Exception list
- Past Due List
- Maturities
- Misc. Filing
- Process advance/draw requests as directed when needed and verify compliance.
- Discuss with Loan Officer and create action plan regarding:
- Bank Compliance, Laws, Regulations.
- Keep up to date on all laws and regulations.
- Complete necessary responsibilities to maintain compliance.
- Follow bank processes and procedures.
- Maintain active and open communications and provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Communicate (when necessary) effectively with:
- Loan Officers
- Portfolio Managers
- Credit Department
- Loan Operations
- Vendors (attorneys, title/insurance companies, county/state offices, etc.)
- Borrowers
5. Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Required Skills & Education
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a commercial loan assistant
- Minimum of 1 -2 years supervising a team preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
- Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems

Physical Requirements

Work Environment
This position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
