WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join our dynamic team at Eqlipse, where innovation meets excellence. We are seeking a skilled Tier 1/Tier 2 System Administrator to contribute to the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing IT system infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing top-notch support to our internal customers. Eqlipse values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. A major component of this role will be configuring UNIX and Windows operating systems and intstalls/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintinas integrity and configures network components. Some of the daily problems that you will be solving will involve:

• Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Managing the daily activities of configuring and operating IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification and diagnosis.
• Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem resolution. 
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems effectively.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for various devices, including client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
• Escalate and communicate the status of issues to agency management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing capacity analysis and planning.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, and maintain system integrity.
• Configure network components and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• Seven (7) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Alternatively, four (4) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
