Terms: Direct Hire with full benefit package
Salary: Salary based on experience
Location: Dacono, CO (in-office 5x/week)
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead all pre-construction and estimating teams
Mentor team to improve delivery of estimating and pre-construction services
Maintain close contact with operations teams and lead project turnover. Review job performance and implement changes based on outcome
Provide and maintain workload charts and bidding/project lists
Manage final bidding, tab sheet reviews, and sub/supplier selections
Manage and execute proposals for negotiated and hard-bid projects
Review final estimates/budgets with estimators, including any value engineering efforts
Capable of providing accurate and detailed cost models, budgets, spending forecasts, and schedules for developer’s pro-forma
Capable of developing complete and competitive GMP/GMAX proposals
Liaison between current and future client, architects, engineers, and other strategic partners
Capable of leading OAC meetings during pre-construction and finalize deals
Oversee bidding of all projects. Review estimates and make required revisions to submit competitive and profitable proposals
Assist clients with pro-forma negotiations
Propose departmental staffing plans to manage workload and accommodate successful growth
Requirements:
8 years of experience in commercial or multi-family construction estimating
4 years of leadership, leading estimating/pre-construction teams
BA in Construction Management or equivalent experience
Culture and success driven mentality
Willing to travel when needed
High level of integrity and moral standards
