Job Purpose: This person will help build and lead a team capable of developing directed energy products and managing them from initial design to production. They will be expected to effectively manage budgets, schedules, and risks to deliver products on budget and on schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the development and execution of products
• Develop right sized engineering processes and procedures
• Contribute to the strategic vision and strategic messaging
• Assist in the logistics, contracts and operations associated with building a successful product line for emerging technologies
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, business, or related field
• Experience managing the development of complex directed energy products
• Ability to build multidisciplinary teams and lead them to accomplish goals
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with model-based systems engineering
• Experience managing programs in a rapid prototyping environment
• Experience with directed energy systems, manufacturing and supply chains
• Experience level: at least 5 years

Position is available in Las Vegas, Nevada and Huntsville, Alabama.
