Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Forklift Operator. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Please note this role is a 2nd shift, working 3:00PM - 11:00PM Monday - Friday and may require Saturday work if needed based on business demands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers using proper dock safety procedures
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Must maintain a current forklift operator’s license
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others
- Move materials, supplies and goods to designated places in the facility
- Must have valuable experience operating a sit down and stand up forklift in a warehouse environment
- Follow instructions and directives from supervisor and/or trainer, and perform all other duties required
- Substitute for other forklift operators.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 6 months of forklift experience preferred
- Must have good attendance record and good work ethic
- Ability to achieve a forklift certification
- Comfortable working in colder temperatures while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear (40 to -15 degrees average)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. (18kgs)
