• Load and unload goods from trucks by forklift and by hand.
• Organize dock space for receiving incoming shipments.
• Maintain inventory of shipments and cargo on-hand in the warehouse.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse.
• Stack goods in the correct storage lanes, following inventory control instructions.
• Check that loads are secure.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment, sweep, mop, etc.
• Perform all computer or necessary technology gadgets necessary to track various aspects of goods when needed.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Crosstrain as needed to learn all warehouse functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills.
• Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.
• Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.
• Familiar with cross dock, trans loads, and distribution.
• Must have at least 2 yrs. experience on sit-down Forklift.
• Must have great communication with co-workers and management.
