Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate construction projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to construction schedules and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction and implement appropriate solutions.
- Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure the maintenance and management of existing revenue streams, facilitate revenue growth, and spearhead efforts to acquire new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or at least three years of experience as a Construction Manager.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
- A general contracting license is required.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, on call, weekends as needed.
