Environmental Diversified Services is Hiring a Lead Restoration Technician Near Greensboro, NC

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated lead restoration technician to join our team. As the Lead Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing our team of technicians and ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will be the point of contact for clients and will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling job assignments.

As a Lead Technician, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of restoration technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, identifying and resolving any technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Train and mentor technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance protocols and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for technicians and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Assess and evaluate damage to properties, including water damage, fire damage, and mold growth.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Document work performed and maintained accurate records of restoration projects.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a restoration technical role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of technical systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in working with logic controllers, HVAC/R systems, high voltage equipment, and other relevant technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that project deadlines are met.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
