The Sales Assistant provides expert level experience integrating audio/visual and control systems into the commercial environment.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist Sales Engineers with their customers, sales, projects and reports.
• Enter all quotations for installations and box sales into job/inventory software and CRM software to account for and track orders. Send all quotations to customer on behalf of the Sales Engineer.
• Maintain status of open orders and follow up with Sales Engineer, vendor, or customer as needed.
• Upon confirmation of all orders, prepare purchase orders for all items and send to vendor for placement of order. Track items and follow up with vendor as needed to expedite any orders.
• Create and maintain new customer files including quotations, purchase orders, packing slips, sales worksheets, and other documentation pertaining to orders.
• Prepare final version of quote along with vendor acceptance of delivery sheets and vendor purchase orders at completion of the work for approval by Manager. These will then to be sent to accounting for invoicing and customer payment.
• Review/compile vendor invoices, technician time sheets, expense reports, materials worksheets and check for accuracy. Enter into CRM software for inclusion on commission report.
• Work in conjunction with Engineering Assistant and Integration Inventory Receiving Clerk on any customer repair issues including research on date of sale/installation, equipment warranty terms, shipment of item back to manufacturer and/or repair facility, and final billing and/or other paperwork to customer.
• Respond to any customer or vendor issues as they occur and try to resolve as best as possible along with any Integration Sales Manager involvement, if necessary.
• Coordinate with Technical Staff, Sales Engineer and/or Customer for scheduling service calls, site surveys, meetings and/or installations, recording the dates and times in the appropriate manner.
