The Lead Inventory Coordinator will work with the Inventory Supervisor to lead warehouse operations involving receiving, staging, tracking, and shipping materials for projects and internal use. Adopt effective techniques for warehouse management and improve processes for maximum efficiency. Promotes the mission, vision, and values at SI. Respects all other professions to provide guidance and consultation within their respective discipline.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Assists Supervisor with the planning of all day-to-day responsibilities and workflow.
• Document, asset, stage, track, and prepare items for projects according to standard practices.
• Ensure effective communication within operations department and other areas within company are practiced maximizing efficiencies and deadlines are met.
• Monitor and document the unloading and receiving of items, visually checking orders to ensure orders are delivered as promised.
• Assist to compile reports on the progress of work and on any inventory related problems that arise; working with multiple departments to resolve issues.
• Investigate inconsistencies and clarify requirements for projects with the PMO, Procurement, Field Services, and Transportation departments.
• Coordinate shipping tasks with internal departments for timely deliverables; working within the operations team on loading and unloading of product for transferring and shipment.
• Lead efforts to organize, clean, and maintain warehouse storage of inventory including using a coded staging system for the proper and safe storage enhancing work effectiveness.
• Maintain par levels of consumables and quantity items through monthly physical inventory checks.
• Support with training, monitoring, and ensuring the success of the department. Provide guidance to employees on improving and maximizing performance by setting clear, achievable goals.
• Support the performance of warehouse processes while ensuring operational safety compliance.
