Summary: Seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, ensure efficient procurement processes, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field; relevant work experience may substitute for education.
Minimum three years of experience in a Procurement/Purchasing environment with APICS Module 1 training or five years of experience without the training.
Demonstrated knowledge of PPT or other MRP systems.
Preferred Skills:
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Proficiency in using computerized supply chain manufacturing software.
Strong negotiating skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and conduct procurement activities for various projects.
Utilize MRP systems to manage supply chain requirements effectively.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and establish strong supplier networks.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the procurement process.
