Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will provide leadership, oversight, and mentoring to the Louisiana Asset Engineering Group for all operational, commercial, and project related activities. Duties include:

• Lead and manage the Louisiana capital budget in direct support of the Director of Asset Engineering.
• Develop and mentor engineering and construction staff.
• Focus on customer service through timely responses to asset team requests and insistence on professional, clear and complete project deliverables.
• Prepare and assist in the project deliverables prepared by direct reports including:
  • Pipeline hydraulic analyses.
  • Process plant simulations.
  • Project development documents (complete scope of work, responsibility matrices, project costs, project schedules and project economics).
• Assist in preparation of Authorization for Expenditures (AFEs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline required.
• 7 years of experience in the midstream sector, including:
  • Gas plant & gathering systems.
  • Compressor stations.
  • Pipeline systems and facility design (ASME B31.3, B31.8, API 1104, DOT 192), 
• Must have project life cycle experience.
• Must be experienced in project management, project cost control, and basic economic evaluation.
• Experience with pipeline hydraulic simulation in Sysnergi or equivalent.
• Experience with process simulations in ProMax or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and provide sound judgment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
