Mobile Automotive Service Technicians work a rotating 4-day workweek schedule including one weekend day. Typically, you'll be at your first appointment by 8 : 00 AM and schedule the work so you are done by 6 : 00 PM.

The night shift does fleet repairs on a 5-day, Monday through Friday schedule.

To be a good fit for the role of Mobile Automotive Service Technician, you will have :

• At least 2years of automotive service experience
• ASE certification; specific manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Strong customer service skills and experience working directly with clients
• General mechanical skills, manual dexterity and ability to operate power and hand tools
• Knowledge of the automotive repair life cycle
• Tech savvy - comfort using apps
• Valid in-state drivers license, and acceptable, safe driving record
• Reached at least 21 years of age

The Job

As a mobile technician, you will work in the field, serving as the face of RepairSmith and representing our brand. You will pick up your assigned van at your assigned hub stationsat approximately 7 : 30, to be at the first appointment by 8 : 00.

The majority of the time, you will perform consumer repairs but will also do some fleet repair each week.

Appointments are scheduled and assigned by the zip codes assigned to each van, with a goal of scheduling in two-hour blocks, though some repairs will take longer.

At times youll need to pick up parts or return later in the day, once the parts are delivered.You will share all key information arrival times, changes, delays, etc.

with your customer via the app and in person. The goal is to complete same-day repairs and never go past two days when there is a delay.
