Endeavor Agency (www.endeavorCRE.com) is a commercial real estate talent agency providing high touch recruitment services throughout California and major western US cities. Endeavor has engaged with a privately held, growing real estate development and investment company seeking for a Vice President of Acquisitions to join their Reno, NV team.

The Vice President of Acquisitions is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the acquisition cycle, from sourcing investment opportunities to closing transactions. They will leverage their strong local acquisition network and be a results-driven leader who can execute against the established real estate strategy, including conducting strategic market analysis and due diligence. The successful candidate will also be adept at all financial aspects of acquisition transactions and possess a strong understanding of real estate development practices, particularly in the target city and neighborhood areas. This role will need to be based in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate new investment opportunities to ensure they align with the company's investment criteria.

• Oversee cities/area macro environment, initiate branch budgets and targets.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of real estate development practices, particularly in the target city and neighborhood areas, including mix-use, industrial and commercial office.

• Identify investment opportunities, underwrite deals, and prepare investment proposals with acquisition teams.

• Actively solicit investment opportunities for ground-up development from market participants and communicate the company's investment objectives and parameters.

• Conduct transaction negotiations to maximize returns with the acquisition team, supervise and provide direction on all project and operation management with local partners.

• Establish and implement development project financial goals and time frames.

• Build and maintain relationships with governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, CO-GPs and GP partners, business groups, consultants, civic and professional organizations.

• Demonstrate managerial experience and ability, with a specific focus on leading and motivating teams to set and meet goals, expectations, and deadlines with limited oversight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Real Estate; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial industrial or office underwriting and acquisitions.

• Demonstrated track record of sourcing off-market transactions.

• Strong understanding of real estate markets for different access types.

• Strong existing network among target market owners and brokers.

• Strong working knowledge of real estate investment and real estate principles.

• Advanced Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Argus, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and results-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work as a team player.

• Outstanding time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
