In this position, you'llbe responsible formaintaining the Dietary Department in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner and provide nutritionally adequate meals in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
**Responsibilities:**
As the Food Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and organizing weekly menus for our community
- Ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations
- Conducting meticulous safety inspections of various areas and promptly addressing any concerns
- Overseeing food quality, presentation, and environmental standards
- Managing food and supply expenses within budgetary guidelines
- Supporting community sales efforts by providing catering services for various events
**Requirements:**
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 2 years management and ServSafe (or equivalent) certification
- Strong working knowledge of food safety regulations
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility
