Emergency Diagnostics Solutions is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Weslaco, TX

As a HR Coordinator you will be required to partner with managers to understand and resolve employee relations issues including providing guidance on company policies and procedures, advising on disciplinary action, writing performance improvement plans, and addressing general concerns.

  • Support processes through the employee lifecycle including performance management, organizational change, and conduct issues.
  • Review employee handbooks and make updates as required.
  • Review federal, state, and local compliance changes such as paid sick leave and make policy changes where appropriate.
  • Conduct monthly employment screen and record keeping.
  • Health and Benefits enrollment process for all new hires who are elligible.
  • Develop and deliver training for managers on various topics such as effective communication as well as annual compliance training for employees.
  • Review HR processes and suggest changes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Conducts local new hire orientation: ensure new hire procedure is properly completed (ensure paperwork is filled out and required documentation is secured.)
  • Terminations process: ensure termination procedure is properly completed; ensure required documentation is completed and submitted and approve terminations.
  • Assist management with recruitment needs and preliminary Interview screening.
  • Perform other special projects or duties as required.

Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Prior Management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in an environment in a fun but fast paced environment with a degree of ambiguity

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience managing employees.
  • 1 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent role
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist or similar position
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft office, Google Suite and similar tools
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
