We are looking for a dynamic go-getter who wants to get out in the field, obtain new accounts, and nurture our current local business accounts. We are a 199-room Embassy Suites and small banquet space on the property. We are owned by Encore Enterprises, a very large commercial property management company based out of Dallas, Texas. $40,000 - $50,000 yearly

• Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
• Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network
• Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives and strategy, with the assistance of the director of sales and marketing
• Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan
• Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts in order to keep and expand our market share

• Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
• 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality
• Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Stays organized and manage time well
• Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field a plus
