ELSSA is Hiring an Infant Teacher Near Orlando, FL

This is a full-time position in our Infants classroom Monday to Friday schedule 8a -5p​​ with Flexibility.​​​​​ The pay is $13 per hour depending on experience. This role is onsite at our center located: 2385 W Church St, Orlando FL 32805.

Theplans and implements curriculum that is age appropriate, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. The infant teacher develops lesson plans daily. You’ll have the chance to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support children’s growth and success.
 
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
 
What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma and/or GED or Degree in related field of study preferred
• Strong communication skills and technology use skills 
• Treat each child with respect 
• Plan, Supervise and implement program for the classroom according to center policies and philosophy 
• Participate in Professional Development Trainings 
• FL 45 DCF hours required

• Must clear a full background check
• Prior experience in early childhood education / care
• CPR Certification and Child Development Associate Certification required
