The Village Preschool Inc is Hiring an Infant teacher Near Orlando, FL

Summary

You will teach and care for children (6 weeks to 12 months of age) enrolled in our childcare center, while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety, and welfare of the children.

Duties
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with families and staff.
  • Responds to children in distress promptly and appropriately.
  • Creating a secure and nurturing environment for infants
  • Engaging infants in developmentally appropriate activities
  • Adhering to feeding schedules
  • Providing infant care during specified shifts
  • Maintaining daily logs of infants’ activities
  • Monitoring infants’ mental and physical development
  • Providing age-appropriate activities and stimulation
  • Recommending age-appropriate developmental milestones
Requirements
  • Be able to work part-time/full-time
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Must meet state requirements for teacher (45 hours within 12 months)
  • Must be willing to obtain First-Aid, CPR,
