Elite Staffing Partners are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This assignment will last 1 week!

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering billing, processing invoices, managing expense reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

IND-ELS

Experience:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar accounting software
- Experience with journal entries and data entry
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to accounts payable
- Previous experience as an accounts payable clerk or in public accounting is a plus
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Familiarity with Paychex or similar payroll processing systems

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds (deliveries could easily weigh 30 pounds).
• Must be able sit, lift, bend, push, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.

This position requires a candidate with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A background in accounting or finance is preferred.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour
