Our client, a regional civil contracting company, has an immediate need for an experienced Estimator, to join their winning team in Jacksonville.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS : Experience estimating and preparing bids for industrial or mechanical construction projects including water / wastewater treatment plants or pump stations.

Experience identifying quality bidding opportunities (QBOs) : researching and analyzing RFPs for hard-bid and negotiated-bid projects and determining those with the highest potential value / ROIAn understanding of heavy civil construction principles, operations, and logistics.

To maintain relationships with internal and external customers through a culture of accountability and respect.A proven track record of preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and estimates for general conditions, labor, equipment, and materials.

Proficiency with computers and MS Office SuiteFamiliarity with construction and estimating software such as HCSS (HeavyBid / HeavyJob), Bid to Win, Procore, Primavera P6, BlueBeam, PlanSwift, Pipeline, Building Connected, etc.
