About the Job

Marietta Sand Corporation (MSC) is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join our team of construction professionals. The primary responsibility will be estimating with occasional project management depending on company workload and project commitments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/site estimating and/or project management along with excellent analytical skills. We are looking for a team oriented and self-motivated individual who can contribute immediately.

MSC is a locally owned Site Development Contractor specializing in sitework and underground utilities in NE Florida for over forty-nine (49) years. Our construction services are diversified to include Multi-Family, Industrial, Commercial, Military, Healthcare, Educational and Institutional projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Thorough Project Estimates and Proposals
• Review/Analyze Geotechnical Reports
• Manage Estimating Database and Costs
• Solicit and Evaluate Vendor Proposals
• Value Engineering
• Prepare Preliminary Schedules
• Conduct Detailed Internal Bid Reviews
• Project Management to include:
• o >Buyout and Subcontractor/Supplier Management
• o >Prepare and Manage Project Schedule
• o >Communication and Coordination with Field Staff
• o >Permitting
• o >Project Cost Controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in Civil/Site Industry Estimating and/or Project Management (5 Yr Minimum Preferred)
• Understanding of Civil/Site Methodologies, Logistics, Equipment and Production
• Proficiency in Industry Software such as HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob, Agtek, Bluebeam, Primavera, MS Office, MS Project, AutoCad
• Detail Oriented with Strong Analytical Skills
• Ability to Communicate Effectively with All Project Stakeholders, Internal and External
