Elfant Pontz Properties is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Philadelphia, PA
Elfant Pontz Properties is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The position will be based out of our Mt. Airy office. The Staff Accountant will assist with the accounting department's day-to-day functions of the accounting department, report directly to the Controller, and work closely with the accounting team mortgage division within the company.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in accounting and bookkeeping functions, inquisitive, eager to learn, a team player, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000
- 401K
- Profit sharing
- Year-end bonus
- Prepare Month End journal entries and month-end reports
- Prepare daily draws and transfers
- Daily cash management
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in quarterly reporting
- Assist with Year-end prep and financial statements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Mortgage experience a plus
- Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
- Quick Learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Elfant Pontz Properties is a multifaceted real estate firm. We develop and manage residential and commercial real estate throughout Northwest Philadelphia (more than 600 units in all). We also own and operate Direct Mortgage Loan Company, a private lending company serving real estate developers and investors.
