THIS POSITION WILL BE A HYBRID POSITION. AS THE RECEIVING CLERK, THIS TEAM MEMBER MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT. FORKLIFT OPERATION, LOADING AND UNLOADING, AND ALL OTHER WAREHOUSE TASKS MAY BE A PART OF THE DAILY WORK.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY ORGANIZED AND A DETAILED INDIVIDUAL FOR THIS POSITON.
SUMMARY: Performs various distribution functions such as order fulfillment and monitoring and replenishing inventory, working in a supply chain distribution facility.
Receives and processes customer orders, locates and extracts stock items from shelves and storage areas, confirms that merchandise information matches the work order, inspects merchandise for damage and irregularities, packs and prepares them for shipment, and schedules deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years related warehouse experience. Knowledge of DOT regulations not required but highly preferred-- if not trained, training will be provided. Preferred experience as a Class A or Class B CDL Driver.
Attention to detail is a must. Forklift certified highly preferred but will train if not already certified. Must be Computer savvy
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend documents in English. Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Must have the ability to write simple correspondence in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform general mathematical functions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Must be certified and able to operate a stand-up & sit down forklift.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifting, pulling, or pushing 50 -100 pounds.
