EHC is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Project Assistant for a client located in Houston, TX.
DURATION: THIS IS A 6-MONTH TEMP ASSIGNMENT THAT COULD EXTEND OR CONVERT TO FULL-TIME, NOT GUARANTEED.
SCHEDULE: FLEXIBLE ON START AND END TIME - 7AM TO 4PM, 8AM TO 5PM, OR 9AM TO 6PM - NO OVERTIME EXPECTED

JOB ROLE:
The Accounts Payable Project Assistant will support our accounts payable team in the execution of the Check Conversion Project aimed at enhancing our financial processes and vendor management. The role will involve contacting targeted vendors currently paid by check to convert their payment method to electronic banking (ACH).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the accounts payable team in streamlining accounts payable processes with vendors.
Implement best practices and drive efficiency to the project.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures,
Assist in resolving accounts payable issues and discrepancies related to project objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 to 3 years of experience in accounting/finance or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective time-management
Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
