Egan Brothers, Inc d/b/a Down Under Directional Boring is looking to expand our team. We are currently looking for an experienced person to perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:

• Recording financial transactions in QuickBooks Online

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts

• Generating financial reports and statements as needed

• Processing payroll through 3rd party payroll company

• Managing vendor relationships and preparing bills for payment

• Onboarding new employees

• Ordering and managing uniforms for the crews

• Assist with travel and hotel accommodation for crews working out of town

• Process Workman’s Comp monthly through 3rd party company

• Clerical support (answering phones checking voicemails, sorting/distributing mail, assist with preparing documents when needed)

Requirements

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.

• Solid understanding of basic financial concepts, including budgeting, debits, credits, and accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of payroll processing

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
