Job Summary:
The Banquet Setup will be responsible for setting up and breaking down events, including tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment. The ideal candidate will be part of the event setup team and must be able to lift 50 pounds or more at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down events, including tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in good working condition
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment
- Ensure that all events are set up according to the client's specifications
- Assist with the coordination of events, including communicating with clients and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in event setup preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more at a time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
