Position Overview:

Edgesource is actively hiring for a Senior Business Analyst in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) mission is to lead the national effort to protect and enhance the resilience of the nation’s physical and cyber infrastructure. CISA includes the CISA Management and Business Service Offices and four Divisions: the Cybersecurity Division (CD), the Emergency Communications Division (ECD), the Infrastructure Security Division (ISD), the Integrated Operations Division (IOD), the Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED), as well as, the National Risk Management Center (NRMC), which are headquartered with the National Capital Region (NCR). Experience supporting senior officials in the federal government, ability to demonstrate the capability to work under stress with deadlines, embraces teamwork, seeks growth opportunities, be experienced in the process policy development and procedures, and able to navigate a high profile environment. This position supports a hybrid work schedule with 25-30% of time working onsite in Arlington, VA at client facility. 

Job Duties: 

  • Conduct research, draft white papers and consult with CISA divisions to inform campaign plans, engagement scope and expected outcomes. 
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, action items, follow-up emails, cataloging / retention of captured information, and other actions. 
  • Consult, advise, and coordinate with CISA partners to mature and advance awareness program standards and to project unity across CISA awareness program activities. 
  • Leverage CISA services, capabilities, tools (e.g. HSIN-CI) and relationships (e.g. CISA regional offices) to advance awareness priorities. 
  • Support effective campaign plan evaluation by developing, tracking, and analyzing evaluative performance data. Developing post-campaign after-action reports, analyses, and other documentation to aid federal staff in capture the impact of campaign plans against expected outcomes. 
  • Planning to support execution of program efforts and to activities within and across CISA subdivisions. Providing expert knowledge of cybersecurity and infrastructure security related issues, including data and policy analysis.
  • Support conference logistics
  • Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
  • Demonstrate initiative

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen willing to undergo a background investigation to obtain DHS Suitability
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
  • 10 years of related work experience in support of the federal government as either an employee, civilian, or contractor
  • Policy development experience
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Successful track record of completing tasks in group settings as well as individually 

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED): 

  • Current DHS suitability or an active government security clearance
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledgable within the ares of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure
