Edesia is a nonprofit, social enterprise on a mission to end malnutrition globally. Since we opened our doors in 2010, we have reached over 24 million children across 62 countries with the life-saving foods we make 24/7 here in Rhode Island in partnership with UNICEF, World Food Programme, and USAID. Our dedicated team of over 150 hails from over 26 countries. Every day we work together to reach children caught in humanitarian crises worldwide and need mission-driven, energetic, passionate problem solvers to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Executive Assistant will serve as the right-hand person to the Founder/CEO, handling a wide range of important topics from complex humanitarian challenges to project management to social media, fundraising and manufacturing. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve organizing meetings on a myriad of topics, requiring the ability to proactively manage a busy schedule smoothly. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial here, along with the ability to deal with urgent matters that demands finesse. This role requires someone who can quickly grasp issues and ensure that all tasks are completed promptly, even ahead of schedule when possible, demonstrating dedication to the urgency of our mission.
