SUMMARY
The Processor is responsible for processing documents for all external assistance in additional to reviewing applications of external applicants who are seeking various types of assistance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Processes documents for the external assistance program.
- Reviews applications and documents to determine workload for the day and prioritize tasks.
- Reviews appropriate source documentation to determine assistance type and amount.
- Have exemplary organizational skills.
- Thoroughly review documents for accuracy.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to make sure applications are being submitted properly and reviewed in a reasonable amount of time.
- Collaborates with the External Assistance Supervisor to identify and resolve all applicant / program issues that may arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
An Associate Degree in Social Services or related field is preferred. Two to three years of work experience in a data entry position is preferred.
