SUMMARY

The Processor is responsible for processing documents for all external assistance in additional to reviewing applications of external applicants who are seeking various types of assistance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Processes documents for the external assistance program.
2. Reviews applications and documents to determine workload for the day and prioritize tasks.
3. Reviews appropriate source documentation to determine assistance type and amount.
4. Communicate with partner agencies for anything relating to the application; the status of the application, obtain needed/missing documents, and up to approval of assistance.
5. Have exemplary organizational skills.
6. Thoroughly review documents for accuracy.
7. Collaborate with partner agencies to make sure applications are being submitted properly and reviewed in a reasonable amount of time.
8. Collaborates with the External Assistance Supervisor to identify and resolve all applicant/program issues that may arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

An Associate Degree in Social Services or related field is preferred. Two to three years of work experience in a data entry position is preferred.
