Eden II Programs is Hiring a Behavior Specialist Near East Meadow, NY

Eden II Programs is looking for a Behavioral Specialist to join our team at our East Meadow Location!

Responsibilities:
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders in a clinic setting

  • Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the BCBA or BCBA-in-residence
  • Collect data on child learning and behavior, including subjective assessments of effectiveness of treatment
  • Collaborate with the BCBA or BCBA-in-residence to coordinate care and support for other children in the program
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge base on current trends in the field of autism and related disorders
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children and families
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:
Experience working with children on their Autism Spectrum Disorders journey, preferred

  • Experience teaching children with developmental disabilities in a classroom setting, preferred
  • Experience providing support for children in the early stages of skill acquisition, preferred

Benefits:
Full-Time Position - Monday - Friday

Pay: $18.60 - $22.00 per hour
