If you have exceptional mathematical and communication skills, with a good understanding of financial services and accounting, this may be the opportunity for you!Responsibilities:Coordinate with vendors and custodians to facilitate the processing and collection of quarter-end/mid-quarter feesDevelop systems to verify data integrity and eliminate billing errorsPerform reconciliations to confirm complete collection of feesCreate annual management fee reports to distribute to clientsEvaluate portfolio management software and custodial interfaces to ensure that systems meet our business needsTrain staff on aspects of billing from the client, planning team, and back-office perspectivesMaintain thorough documentation on all items related to fee calculations and changes to bill settings on client householdsAssist with daily staff requests/inquiriesQualificationsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred, or equivalent industry experience4 years of collections experience required having calculated and maintained fee schedules and payouts, along with proven ability to execute the invoicing, processing, collection, and confirmation of feesProven experience in an invoicing and billing environmentBrokerage or RIA related experience preferredMust possess knowledge of Microsoft Office software and be highly advanced in Excel and Access, experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics a plusMust be highly detail-orientedMust be able to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and maintain composure in a fast-paced work environmentAptitude for mathematics and can produce formulas to calculate fees and account valuations given variable client portfolios and fee structuresStrong interpersonal skills required and can clearly articulate billing concepts to staff members with various areas of expertiseAbility to understand and easily transition between macro-level concepts and micro-level detailAdditional InformationIf you are interested in an exciting career with Edelman Financial Engines, apply to this job posting at: https://www.edelmanfinancialengines.com/careers
