Ecore International is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to ensure we have the data we need to make smart decisions as it scales by influencing how we build the function and optimizing stakeholders’ data access. This role is a great fit if you are hands-on, results-oriented, and eager to work cross-functionally to support the business’s objectives. You’ll partner with internal clients to understand their requirements and design new systems and programs to leverage generated insights that will propel our business forward. The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for creating and executing processes and procedures for reporting and data analysis at a company-wide level. What you'll be doing:Establish the Business Intelligence (BI) function as a powerful, insightful, and highly impactful team to Ecore’s operations utilizing data from multiple sources (ERP, Salesforce, manufacturing sensors, etc.).Serve as analytics advisor and strong change leader to drive adoption of reporting solutions that support strategic direction.Develop, sustain, and leverage relationships within Ecore's departments and functions to align workflows, create consistent approaches, and foster best practice sharing that will ensure the best intentions for the customer is always included in business decisions.Leverage a deep, data-driven understanding of the key drivers and metrics underpinning Ecore’s products and business lines to draw insights and make recommendations that will help the company grow and scale effectively.Align closely with our customer and business facing teams to support objectives through analysis.Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.Foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization through education and advocacy.Partner with key business functions and the data warehouse to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points.Lead master data governance practices: identify discrepancies, establish standards, and create the infrastructure needed for analysis and automation.Deliver in-depth technical expertise and support the creation of business intelligence processes and rules. Collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, data catalog, business definitions, process dependencies, flows, and decisions related to the development cycle of analytical solutions. Follow & implement BI and data warehousing industry best practices in analytical solutions.Partner with IT and Enterprise Analytics teams on the design and implementation data architecture and modeling for BI solutions.Mange resources necessary to plan, coordinate, and deliver solutions to meet various projects requirements. Create effective customer and vendor relationship. Establish and maintain communication with business partners and IT organizations. Identify and specify technical and functional requirements, resources and processes.Create and design specifications, deployment plans, system manual and other technical documents. Build a core, lean team to execute on the Business Intelligence team priorities.What you'll bring to the table:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field5 years of experience in data analytics, data models, database design development, data mining or segmentation techniques5 years of experience with business intelligence software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)7 years of experience in Advanced Analytics & Reporting for Marketing, Sales & ForecastingExperience reading and writing SQL or other database functions and understanding relational databases (preferred)Strong SQL experience relating to querying, compiling, and tabulating data (preferred)Experience in product, program, or project management (preferred)
