Job Posting Title: Regional Sales Director Time Type: Full TimeThe Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales team to drive revenue growth for the company in the transportation and logistics industry. This position oversees the development and implementation of the sales strategy and ensures the achievement of sales targets.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the sales strategy to drive revenue growthEnsure the achievement of sales targets and performance metricsLead and manage the sales team to deliver on sales objectivesDevelop and maintain relationships with key clients and partnersIdentify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on themProvide regular reporting on sales performance and market trendsCollaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectivesManage the sales budget and ensure ROI on sales initiativesMonitor and assess competitive activity in the market and adjust the sales strategy accordinglyEducational background / Work experienceA bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management is required, with experience in transportation and logistics industry preferred.SkillsStrong leadership and team management skillsDemonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of sales processes and techniquesAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partnersAbility to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectivesKnowledge of market trends and competitiveSupervisory Responsibilities (if any)Directly supervises a team of sales managers and sales representativesPreferred QualificationsProfessional certification in sales management or marketing, such as from the Sales Management Association or the American Marketing AssociationExperience with CRM systems and other sales management toolsLanguage skillsFluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.Computer LiteracyProficient in the use of sales management tools and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is also desirable.At Will EmploymentDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
