Title: Project Manager – Electrical
Job Summary: Echo Power Engineering has an opportunity for a self-motivated Electrical Project Manager looking for career growth and new opportunities. The Project Manager works closely with Directors, Leads, and Engineers to support all aspects of managing turnkey electrical and mechanical projects. This position requires regular travel throughout California.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead project design meetings and propose better industry practices, where necessary
- Facilitate project kickoffs
- Schedule job walks and bid walks
- Plan and manage project goals, reporting of project schedules and new information
- Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and closeout packages
- Facilitate equipment procurement via RFQ’s and RFI’s
- Perform site assessments
- Provide technical support and make recommendations from drawing review
- Execute commissioning documentation
- Manage stakeholder communication
- Manage budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems & processes
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact in a team environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be a self-motivator who is equally comfortable in the field or at a computer
- Must display leadership skills and have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
- Relevant computer skills: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, data entry software (CMiC experience a plus)
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree 5 years of project management experience
-or- - 9 years of project management/mechanical experience
Job Location:
Our main office is located in Clarksville, TN but this is a work from home position when work is not being conducted in the field. Candidate should live within one hour of a commercial airport.
Pay and Benefits:
- Salary: $102,377 – $129,084 (based on education and experience)
- Annual bonus up to 15% of base salary
