Position: Technology Sourcing & Vendor Management Analyst
Work Location: New York, NY 10019
Number of days in the office: Two – Tuesdays and any other work day of choice
This is a 6 month contract to hire role
Overview: The Technology Sourcing & Vendor Management Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the benefits derived from our strategic alliances with technology partners and vendors. This opportunity offers engagement with diverse business stakeholders across industries such as media, healthcare, and finance.
Strategic Procurement: Identify, assess, and procure technology-related products and services vital to our organizational functions.
Perform comprehensive modeling: Assess project costs and benefits utilizing standard methodologies, including understanding historical price trends, total cost of ownership, should-cost modeling, Benchmarking and other to ensure the delivery of optimal value for our organization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand market dynamics, conduct negotiations, and uphold standards while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Global Technology Negotiations: Run negotiations for comprehensive technology agreements spanning IT commodities like hardware, software, cloud, and managed services. Strive for cost savings, favorable payment terms, and added value from vendor agreements.
Vendor Management Tools Oversight: Maintain the accuracy and efficiency of Vendor Management tools like Salesforce and SharePoint, crucial for negotiation and process management.
