Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Executive Director in our Assisted Living/Memory Care/Independent Living community located in Sarasota, FL. Starting at $34/hr the Assistant Executive Director will provide comprehensive support to the Executive Director in overseeing the daily operations of the Senior Living Community including financial, programmatic, operational, marketing, and all other business functions of the Assisted Living community. This position supports and backs up the Executive Director for 24/7 oversight of community operations. Schedule includes:

• 80 hours every two weeks
• Day shift hours - flexible with hours for leadership duties
• Rotates in Manager-On-Duty weekend, approximatley once every other month

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Provide daily operational oversight to ensure Ebenezer Standards and compliance requirements are achieved.
• Mange staff onboarding and development process.
• Ensure the marketing plan is developed and implemented to achieve full occupancy.
• Ensure timely follow-up and communication with residents, families, staff and other stakeholders.

• Maintain employee files following Ebenezer’s policies.

• Oversee and manage the Resident Agreement Process, following Ebenezer’s policies.

• Performs other duties as required and supports various department with their needs. 

Qualifications

Required:

• Within six months of start date must have completed 1 OR 2:

• Current Florida Driver’s license (in good standing)

Preferred:

• Three years of experience in an applicable position
• Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
