Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a company that operates in the execution of specialized work in the field of underground engineering in its search for a Junior Project Engineer to provide technical, quality control and administrative support to Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers on job sites. For immediate consideration apply today.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure that all company and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced.
• Ensure all installation follows quality Control Manual, Approved Submittals and Work Plans. 
• Perform field quality control tests. 
• Prepare and manage quality control and production records. 
• Review and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
• Run small work crews (technical tasks like water testing, load testing, etc.).
• Perform field surveys layout and resolves geometry issues. 
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work. 
• Order materials, write purchase orders, and tracks inventory. 
• Prepare submittals and RFI’s 
• Assist in preparation of change order documentation and claim analysis.
• Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule. 
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction. 
• Prepare and manage production records and quality control records. 
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience 

• 4-year degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training and related experience. 
• 3-4 years of prior construction site work experience. 
• Bi-fluid or Tri-fluid JG experience is recommended. 
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook and CAD. 
• Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
• Make decisions and assume accountability.
• Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. 
• Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. 
• Thorough and systematic, able to effectively manage time and complete deadlines. • Able to work in a dynamic environment. 
• Assess safety and risk. 
• Ability to Travel or be relocated to projects in USA.
