Job Overview:
The Team Member will report directly to the VP of Sales/Distribution Territory & Market Managers. This position is a great opportunity for those looking to get a start in the sales field as they will be working directly with our Distribution Team assisting in various commercial field support and service-related activities.
General Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
· Support field and sales activity in the Indirect Sales/Distribution channel
· Responsible for covering service-related areas of the business. i.e. Routine sample collection, cross-referencing, etc.
· Responsible for assisting in proposal/quoting/pricing related activities within the Distribution Territory(s)
· Travel and overnight travel required for Distribution related activities
· Participation in various meetings and sales/distribution related field activities
· Commitment to continuous learning about the industry, various segments, applications & products
· Communicates effectively. Promote, build & maintain key customer & prospective customer relationships
· Responsible for yearly goals/measurables/KPI’s/paperwork expectations
· Awareness and understanding of other key functional areas to include Marketing, R&D and Operations (Customer Care, Supply Chain and Manufacturing).
· Support field service functions including aspects of the Metalworking Field Services Program (machine clean-outs and routine visits)
