To coordinate and provide various employer-based programs and services offered through the Michigan Works!
Services Centers. This position will act as a liaison for employer related activities. The position will work with
employers to understand their current and future workforce needs. They will assist employers in identifying
workforce skills gaps and assist the employer in the development of plan to overcome identified skills gaps. The
incumbent will assist employers in applying for and obtaining grant resources to enhance their workforce. This
position will coordinate supports and resources with Oakland County Workforce Development, Oakland County
Planning and Economic Development, Michigan Economic Development and local area training vendors. This
position will also work with employers and their employees during Rapid Response meetings and Trade Act
petitions.
