Salary will be $14.00 per hour

Part time position working 3 days per week (27 hours per week)

About the Position:

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher Floater to join our team of early childhood educators in making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and special needs in our Igoe-Amar Child Development Center in West Palm Beach. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will provide a positive, safe, stimulating and inclusionary learning environment to allow the children to grow and develop to their fullest potential. This position assists with the daily activities in the classroom including (but not limited to) greeting children and caregivers, implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities, and supervising children in the classroom and on the playground.

The hours of operation for our center are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The work hours for this position will be scheduled within those hours.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of the DCF 45-hour Training within the first 90 days of employment
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
