East Liberty Family Health Care Center is Hiring a Dental Support Representative Near Pittsburgh, PA

The Dental Support Representative Lead coordinates and oversees the activities of the front office and dental team members to ensure compassionate and professional care for patients and effective and efficient front office workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

•High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred, but not required
•Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (Spanish beneficial)
•Administrative experience, preferably at an FQHC
•Supervisory or management experience preferred
•MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required
•Knowledge of insurance verification; dental, medical, and behavioral health
•Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel to different locations
•Must be flexible with schedule (able to work different times and weekends)
•Advanced understanding of medical insurance as it relates to appointment scheduling

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Organize and assign duties and tasks to dental office team members and ensure that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
•Identify and recommend solutions to team members for any office issues or problems that arise.
•Review daily dental office collections and pre-check for Finance/Accounting
•Manage verification of insurance to ensure accurate billing
•Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and committees
•Manage provider schedule changes, answering service messages, telephone encounters, emails, and correspondence from other ELFHCC staff in the office.
•Prepare reports on dental office activities and performance as needed.

* All other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
