Dental front desk receptionist is on the front line of the dental experience offering a professional, cheerful, and comfortable atmosphere all while staying in accordance with FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Care Center) guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred, but not required
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (Spanish beneficial)
• Administrative experience, preferably at an FQHC
• MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required
• Knowledge of insurance verification; dental, medical, and behavioral health
• Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel to different locations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take/ Process payments
• Identify and recommend solutions to team members for any office issues or problems that arise.
• Review daily dental office collections and pre-check for Finance/Accounting
• Manage verification of insurance to ensure accurate billing
• Register new patients with current insurance information and manage sliding fee application.
• Prepare reports on dental office activities and performance as needed.

• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
