We are expanding our business into the US and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, located in Denver, to promote and increase sales of our ESdat software within the Mid-West .

OUR COMPANY

EarthScience Information Systems (EScIS) produces leading-edge software used to manage field, laboratory, logger and associated geo-environmental and hydrogeological data.

Our team of scientists and software developers have experience working with environmental and geo-scientific data in contaminated site, mining, compliance, groundwater resources and consulting. Their expertise provides the foundation on which we build world-class environmental and hydrogeological data solutions.

With staff across Australia and Canada, we are currently expanding into the USA.

OUR PRODUCT

ESdat is an all-in-one environmental data management software used by consulting, mining, government, industrial, energy and other firms globally. It’s differentiated from existing legacy options by it's user friendliness, turnkey setup, and commitment to modern SaaS principals.

YOUR ROLE

Achieving agreed revenue targets for the sale of ESdat by identifying and gaining business from new clients.

What’s the day to day like?

  • Promoting our software and services to prospects and your connections at conferences, events, meetings and online.
  • Identifying new opportunities.
  • Nurturing leads and developing relationships with key decision makers
  • Closing new sales
  • Reporting on your progress and success
  • Overseeing the software implementation process once sales have been won to ensure clients are completely satisfied
  • Collaborating with the EScIS team.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Development or Sales role selling to the Environmental Consulting, Mining or similar industry.
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with environmental data and reporting.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude!

You will be rewarded with …

  • Training and support
  • Commensurate with your experience, skills and location, a base salary between $60,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus commission (an average performer would earn approximately $30,000 p.a. but there is potential in our commission structure to earn more if you are a high performer). Health insurance will also be included in your salary package.
