Position Summary:
The VP of Marketing at EarnIn provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the company's marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for the development and execution of go-to-market and always-on strategies, integrated campaign strategies for product launches, elevating brand visibility and driving revenue growth.
The VP of Marketing collaborates cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive brand message and to increase overall brand desirability. Leading a team of marketing professionals, this role is critical to the growth of the EarnIn brand and business as a whole.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is$283,000 - $365,000 equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
This is a remote position with a preference for hybrid in our Palo Alto office 2 days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and optimize the "full-funnel experience" constantly looking for ways to iterate, test, and improve the customer experience and return on marketing investment.
- Be a catalyst for company-wide growth, inspiring and enabling the broad marketing team to fully realize the potential of all prospects and customers across our expanding portfolio of solutions.
- Maintain executive accountability for all brand and integrated marketing channels and in collaboration with growth and analytics.
- Work hand in hand with the CMO, Product, and Engineering to set and execute the roadmap & OKRs for EarnIn’s short and long-term marketing plans.
- Own the brand and integrated marketing experimentation process, beginning with leading collaborative ideation sessions and then prioritizing these ideas by cost, impact, and confidence.
- Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to your team, other departments, and the Board of Directors on the company’s integrated marketing plans and efforts.
- Partner with our product, sales, and growth teams to drive the business; leading the team in integrated campaigns.
- Work with the cross-functional business teams (Product, Service, Sales, Ops, Legal, Compliance, etc ) to identify and enable our marketing strategies.
- Work closely with Analytics to analyze campaign performance data and uncover areas for improvements across all integrated marketing efforts.
What We're Looking For:

- 10 years of marketing experience within the consumer, technology, financial service preferred.
- You are first and foremost a consumer-driven marketer. You have a deep, empathic understanding of consumers, their needs, and how to shape and leverage a differentiated positioning strategy to drive high-value interactions.
- Demonstrated business leadership and stakeholder management skills, specifically in partnering teams to deploy impactful go to market strategies
- Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
- Strong customer-centric mindset, evidenced by past roles in advocating for customer needs, resolving their problems, and enhancing their overall experience.
- The desire to be a world-class individual contributor at EarnIn - while you will lead a team, you’re also not afraid to get your hands dirty.
- Excellent time management, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- A decisive and supportive leader. You lead by example, unwavering in your desire to accomplish goals and help those around you do the same.
