Earl Owen Company is Hiring an Admin & WHSE Housekeeping Near Carrollton, TX

I. Job Summary:

Assisting with trash and general housekeeping around the warehouse, break rooms, admin area and offices in all warehouses.

II. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly janitors room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

• Empty trash bins (Inside/Outside) throughout the facilities twice per day.

• Pick up/Sweep trash throughout the day in aisles and work areas.

• Clean and sanitize breakroom tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. 

• Clean and sanitize equipment/fixtures – warehouse printers, tables, monitors, interior windows, and doors, etc.

  • Clean/Wipe down disinfect and refill soap dispensers on all restrooms.

• Clean/Wipe down coffee pots in admin breakroom.

• Clean refrigerators every Friday.

  • Assists in examining buildings for safety hazards and reports problems to Warehouse Manager. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

III. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to keep the buildings clean and orderly.
  • Ability to interact with staff while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.

Required Minimum Education

College Course work or equivalent

2 Year college degree (Associate or equivalent) 4 Year college degree (Bachelor or equivalent)

Post-graduate degree or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Includes any required computer skills, regulatory knowledge, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.) 

  1. Ability to read, understand and follow directions in English.

  3. Strong knowledge and adherence to all safety standards.
  4. Ability to demonstrate common sense in resolving simple and complex issues.
  5. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently. 
  6. Must be able and available to work during hours for designated shift: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Hours are subject to change based on business need.
